Learn More About CARE

Cooperative Agencies Resources for Education (CARE) is a supplemental program within EOPS designed to provide additional support to eligible single parents who are pursuing their education at Imperial Valley College AND are receiving TANF/CalWORKS (government cash aid). Once your EOPS eligibility is determined, our team can review your eligibility for additional CARE services and benefits.

CARE provides academic, financial, and personal support to help student parents balance college, family responsibilities, and their educational goals.

CARE Eligibility

To be considered for CARE, students must:

  • Be eligible for and accepted into the EOPS program
  • Be a single parent/head of household
  • Receive TANF/ CalWORKS (Government cash aid)
