EOPS (Extended Opportunity Programs and Services) is here to support students who face barriers in their educational journey. Whether you're the first in your family to attend college, a former foster youth, or navigating economic or language challenges — we’re here for you.

✅ Basic Eligibility Requirements

To be considered for the EOPS Program, you must:

• ✔️ Be a California resident
• ✔️ Qualify for Financial Aid (CA Promise Fee Waiver)
• ✔️ Be enrolled in 12 or more units
  (Exceptions may be made with Program Coordinator approval)
• ✔️ Have fewer than 70 degree-applicable units completed

📌 You must also meet at least one of the following:

• First-generation college student (neither parent earned a college degree)
• English Language Learner or come from an Emergent Bilingual household
• Part of a special population:
  • Current or former foster youth
  • Housing insecure
  • Justice-impacted
  • Did not graduate from high school or earned a GED

Our EOPS/CARE Coordinator can review your situation and consider other factors under Title 5 of the California Education Code.
