Career Technical Education (CTE) Opportunities for High School and ROP Students
Imperial Valley College works with area high schools and the Imperial Valley Regional Occupational Program (ROP) to create pathways that can help students transition from high school Career Technical Education into college-level programs.
Through approved articulation agreements, eligible students may have opportunities to earn college credit for qualifying coursework completed while attending a participating high school or ROP program.
Students participating in an articulated course must meet the requirements established for the applicable agreement, which may include successfully completing the course, earning the required grade, and completing an IVC Credit-by-Exam assessment when applicable.
Eligible students should work with the appropriate Imperial Valley College office to determine requirements for receiving college credit and having eligible coursework posted to their official IVC transcript.
