Join Our Tutoring Club!
The Tutoring Club is a student organization within Imperial Valley College's Learning
Services Department that brings together tutors, peer mentors, and students who are
passionate about helping others succeed.
More than just a club, we are a community dedicated to academic excellence, leadership,
collaboration, and service. Through meetings, campus events, volunteer opportunities,
and social activities, members develop valuable professional skills while making a
positive impact on the IVC community.
Whether you're an experienced tutor or simply interested in supporting student success,
the Tutoring Club provides opportunities to connect, grow, and lead alongside fellow
students who share your passion for education.
As a member, you'll have the opportunity to:
-
Connect with fellow tutors and student leaders.
-
Develop leadership, communication, and teamwork skills.
-
Support Learning Services events and campus initiatives.
-
Gain volunteer experience that strengthens your résumé and transfer applications.
-
Share ideas and help shape future tutoring programs and events.
-
Participate in social activities, fundraisers, outreach events, and professional development
opportunities.
-
Make a meaningful difference by supporting student success at Imperial Valley College.
The Tutoring Club welcomes current student tutors, peer mentors, and any Imperial
Valley College student who is passionate about academic success, leadership, and serving
others. Whether you're looking to build professional skills, connect with fellow students,
or make a positive impact on campus, the club provides a supportive environment where
members can grow, collaborate, and contribute to the Learning Services community.
No matter your experience level, there's a place for you in the Tutoring Club.
