Imperial Valley businesses are being urged to hire local and give an Imperial Valley College student the opportunity to work for them through the college's Career Services Center.
Those looking to hire an intern or to post a job listing at the college may do so through the College Central Network Services, a free online resource to promote jobs and internships to IVC students. Accessible 24/7, the College Central Network allows students to apply for jobs through the system. The network will collect the applications for the employer.
Employers also may post to the California Community Colleges Jobs Consortium at no charge. The consortium is comprised of 45 of the 116 California Community Colleges. Postings may be made to any or all of these schools, including IVC.
