NextUp Scholars 

Want to become more involved? 

NextUp Scholar give students an opportunity to develop leadership skills, build community, advocate for foster youth, promote educational rights, and help create a stronger NextUp experience at Imperial Valley College. 

Ambassadors may have opportunities to: 

• Connect with other NextUp students 
• Advocate for foster youth in higher education 
• Participate in leadership opportunities 
• Help welcome new NextUp students 
• Represent NextUp at campus events 
• Participate in community service 
• Help plan student activities and events 
• Develop professional and leadership skills
