22 Borderlands AmeriCorps Members provide 1:1 to 1:3 ratio of academic tutoring in English language development and functional academics on a daily basis to 159 underperforming kindergarten through 12th grade and special education students at 18 service sites countywide.
Work-Study is a financial aid–based employment program that allows eligible students to work part-time while attending school.

Tutors work after school at local high schools and also support our summer programs, including our residential program at University of California, San Diego in La Jolla.
