The Net Price Calculator is a tool that students and parents can use to get a rough
idea of how much financial aid they might get and how much it could cost to go to
Imperial Valley College.
It's important to know that the results are only a guess. To find out the real amount of financial aid you can get, you need to fill out the FAFSA (Free Application for Federal Student Aid) and turn in all the needed documents. There are also other things that affect your aid, like deadlines, how much money is available, and how well you're doing in school.
Watch our video on the Net Price Calculator.
The calculator uses your family's financial information and other details you give
to estimate how much grant money you might get. Your “net price” is the cost of attendance minus the grants you might receive.
The cost of attendance shown in the calculator is just an estimate of what it may cost to go to college and take care of your basic needs while you're there. Your real costs might be higher or lower.
Also, remember that only registration and some other fees are paid directly to the college. Everything else is your responsibility.
