Financial Aid Payment

When Will I Get My Financial Aid?

Your financial aid will be added to your IVC student account based on the official Payment Schedule for the school year.

  • Pell Grants are paid in three parts each semester.
  • Cal Grants, SEOG, and Student Success Completion Grants (SSCG) are paid in one payment per semester.
  • Your funds will be available on BankMobile about one week after they show up in WebSTAR.

See the 2025-26 Payment Schedule

How Is My Payment Amount Decided?

The amount of money you get depends on:

  • How many required units you’re taking (classes that count toward your program),
  • Your enrollment status, and
  • For the Pell Grant only: your Enrollment Intensity

What is the Freeze Date?

Your financial aid amount is locked in on the Freeze Date each semester. This is the date we check how many required units you're enrolled in to decide your award amount.

Only classes that are part of your program and that you’ve started attending will count.

Other Enrollment Notes

  • If you are on Probation Status due to Satisfactory Academic Progress, you may be limited to taking the specific courses outlined on your Academic Plan.
  • Remedial and repeated courses might not count toward financial aid.
