Whether you’re attending college for the first time, returning to continue your education, transferring, or exploring a new career, IVC is here to help you get started. Beginning Sept. 1, IVC is transitioning to CCCStart, California Community Colleges’ new enrollment experience designed to make getting started simpler, clearer and more student-friendly.
As part of this transition, you’ll notice “Apply” is being replaced with “Start” across the IVC website. As an open-access California Community College, this language better reflects the process. You’re not applying to see if you’ll be accepted. You’re taking the first step toward enrolling and reaching your goals at IVC.
Already enrolled at IVC? Nothing changes for you. You do not need to start a new application or take any action. CCCStart is primarily for new students and students returning after more than a year away. When it’s time to begin your journey at IVC, just Start.
Applying to Imperial Valley College is easier than ever through California Community Colleges' new enrollment experience, designed to make getting started simpler, clearer, and more student-friendly. The updated process helps guide you from application to enrollment so you can focus on reaching your goals.
