Why Should I Submit to El Corazón?

If you have a story to tell, send us your work! If you love to write, send us your work! If you think your photography and/or art is good/great/excellent, send us your work! If you have written an original musical composition, send us your work! Our goal is to have to work really hard because we are flooded with submissions. Writers, artists and musicians who are successful have all submitted their work for review, and now so can you! Is there a better place to start than your own college’s journal publication? No! So submit! We look forward to reading/seeing your work!

Submissions & Guidelines

Written Submissions:

All written work must be original and created by the submitter.
A.I. generated artwork will not be considered for selection.
Be sure to attach Essays, Poetry, and Speeches as a .pdf, .doc, .docx,
The attachment should NOT have the author’s name or information anywhere in it, just the title(s).

Art and Photography Submissions:

All artworks must be original and created by the submitter.
A.I. generated artwork will not be considered for selection.
All original works of art must be submitted for the student art show to be considered for publication.
All submitted work must be submitted as a .jpeg file and should NOT have the author’s name or information anywhere in it, just the title(s).
Photographs of the artwork may be submitted but must be cropped to only showcase the artwork.
