Commencement Ceremonies

Honoring the hard work, dedication, and achievements of our graduates as they embark on their next great chapter.

Livestreams

For those unable to attend in person, the Imperial Valley College Commencement Ceremony will be broadcast live in high definition on our official YouTube channel. Tune in at the scheduled ceremony time to watch your favorite graduates cross the stage and celebrate their achievements from anywhere in the world.

Rules, Guidelines, and Regulations

To ensure a safe, dignified, and memorable experience for our graduates, faculty, and guests, all participants and attendees are required to adhere to the following guidelines.

  1. Admission to the ceremony will be by ticket only.
  2. Each guest must present an admission ticket to the assigned ceremony- this includes babies and young children. NO EXCEPTIONS!
  3. All children MUST be accompanied by an adult.
  4. Tickets are NOT interchangeable between the two ceremonies.
  5. No food or drinks will be allowed at the ceremony.
  6. No air horns, whistles or other noise makers will be permitted into the gym.
  7. Leis & stoles should be given to the graduate prior to the ceremony.
  8. Absolutely no balloons will be allowed in the gym.
  9. Strollers will not be allowed at the ceremony as they create a safety hazard, and we ask guests to please plan accordingly as guests will not be permitted to enter with a stroller.

  10. Cap decorations are permitted but must adhere to the IVC guidelines emailed to graduates.

2026 Commencement Program

The official Imperial Valley College Commencement program provides a detailed guide to the day's event, including the full order of exercises, keynote speakers, and graduate names. Physical copies will be distributed at the venue entrance at the moment of the ceremony, and digital versions will be available for download right here.
