The California Work Opportunity and Responsibility to Kids (CalWORKs) program at Imperial Valley College (IVC) is a state-funded initiative that supports student-parents who receive TANF/Cash Aid benefits. In partnership with the Imperial County Department of Social Services, ASPIRE CalWORKs provides personalized, comprehensive services to help student-parents succeed academically, professionally, and personally.

ASPIRE CalWORKs counselors work closely with students to create an individualized SEP that may include:

Ready to join ASPIRE CalWORKs at IVC? Speak with your Employment Training Worker (ETW) or Social Worker and request a referral to the IVC ASPIRE CalWORKs Counseling Program. Once referred, our team will guide you through the next steps to get enrolled and connected with services.
