As an Imperial Valley College student, your pre-paid session health fee entitles you to Student Health Services (SHS). We recommend you also carry outside insurance for health issues not covered by SHS, Pioneers Memorial Healthcare District was selected as provider of our basic health services such as first aid and care for minor illnesses.
The services also include health screenings, health promotion vaccinations, and mental health counseling. Walk-in and appointment services are available and can be accessed by visiting or contacting the Student Health Center. Also see: Mental Health Counseling

Each enrolled student is entitled to one minor sick visit per semester/term at any
of the following locations subject to a reduced fee of only $35.00.

The Student Health Fee
The Student Health Fee allows students to receive health services on campus and at various health centers in the community.
The fee is not related to health insurance and is required whether or not students
choose to use the Center.
The Board of Governors (BOG) fee waiver will not cover this fee. Students receiving
a BOG will need to pay the fee.
