Imperial Valley College - Free Enrollment Fees and Books for Fall 2021    

The Financial Aid Office is open Monday through Friday from 8am to 5pm with the Financial Aid Lab available from 9am to 5pm. We continue to offer remote services as well through our Zoom link (https://cccconfer.zoom.us/j/92328108695), by phone at (760) 355-6266 and via email at contact.finaid@imperial.edu.

 

Applying for Financial Aid

We’ve developed a step-by-step guide to apply for financial aid. We use the results of the FAFSA (Free Application for Federal Student Aid) or the California Dream Act Application to determine eligibility.

Imperial Valley College - Free Enrollment Fees and Books for Winter and Spring 2022

Who is eligible: *Regular students who enroll for Winter or Spring and do the following:
1. Complete the IVC Application online
2. Register for classes
3. Complete the 21-22 FAFSA or CADAA

*excludes high school and incarcerated students
 
NOTE: Students must meet all requirements by 1/19/2022 for Winter and 6/1/2022 for Spring.
 
  • What is covered:
    • All fees:
    • Registration Fees (in-state and out-of-state tuition)
    • Student Health Fee
    • Student Rep Fee
    • Course Fees
    • *Books/Emergency Grants:
    • $250 if enrolled in 3 to 11.5 units
    • $800 if enrolled in 12 more units

 *separate grants will be paid for Winter and Spring based on units in those individual terms (not combined).

 

Distribution Dates:
  • Fees: will be processed via exemption on a daily basis for students who have met the requirements. Students will receive refunds for fees previously paid on our regularly scheduled disbursement dates.
  • Books: Book Emergency Grant payments will be made by check unless you have previously chosen a disbursement method with BankMobile on the dates designated below:
