After your online application is received and processed, an email will be sent informing you of your admission status or requesting additional information, if needed. This can take anywhere from 1 hour to a full day, depending on the time of year and the number of applications being processed. Once your application is accepted, you will receive your IVC Student ID number via email. The ID number starts with the letter "G", so this often gets referred to as your "G Number" on campus.
If you do NOT receive the confirmation email within 24 hours please contact the Admission & Records (Bldg. 10) at (760) 355-6101, so we can personally check on the status of your application. Please be prepared to answer a few questions to verify your account over the phone or come in with a picture id. If you attended IVC in the past, it could be that we need to go through a few extra steps to get the email delivered to you – but we are happy and eager to help!
