As a result of the American Rescue Plan (ARP) Act of 2021, Imperial Valley College received funds through the Higher Education Emergency Relief Fund III (HEERF III)
Due to the limited amount of funding available, these funds are being distributed by application to those with the greatest need to help cover books and other emergency costs related to the coronavirus pandemic such as food, housing, health care (including mental), childcare, tuition, or other school-related fees and expenses.
Students enrolled in 6 or more units for the Spring semester and otherwise ineligible for federal financial aid (FAFSA or CADAA required) or subject to non-resident tuition may be eligible for a $300 grant. Initial eligibility will be determined on March 2, 2023, and distributed on March 10, 2023. Awards after this date will be subject to availability of funds.
