IMPERIAL VALLEY COLLEGE ENTRANCE REQUIREMENTS:
In order to enter the Fire Academy, you must first apply to be a student with Imperial Valley College (if you have not already).  Below is a quick link to the IVC registration website:

FIRE ACADEMY ENTRANCE REQUIREMENTS:
After you are registered as a student with Imperial Valley College, you must fill out the online Fire Academy Application when available, and submit all documents.  You will also need the following:

• United States citizen or applying for U.S. citizenship
• Must be at least 18 years old
• High school diploma or GED

An orientation meeting will be held prior to the academy's start.  Information regarding uniforms, background, drug screening, and medical clearance will be provided at the orientation meeting. 

*Please note that cadets must pass background, drug screening, and medical clearance.
