Josue Isai Verduzco

Learning Services Support Coordinator/BA in Mathematics.
Josue truly takes to heart IVC's motto, "Committed to Your Success." 

His experience, knowledge, and innovation has been key to the Study Skills Center's growth. Josue has been employed at IVC since 1996. In that time, he has worked diligently to help students succeed in their academic pursuits.  Recipient of Coordinator of the Year 2018 at the 3CSN 2019 Tutor Expo in San Diego.

Jael Esqueda

Tutorial Specialist/BA in Psychology

"Coffee is my driving force."

Jael has been employed at the Study Skills Center for the last *redacted* years during which she has undergone every training available to tutors and is now one of the key tutor trainers the SSC employs. She oversees all tutors on a day to day basis.

Embedded Tutor Program Specialist/BA in Psychology

She is the Embedded Tutor Program's heartbeat and best knitter around.

Margarita has been employed at the Study Skills Center for the last 8 years and has been a pioneer in the implementation of the Embedded Tutor Program.

When asked to describe herself in a paragraph, she only had four words: "I am the best."

Ana has been employed at the SSC for the last 3 years. She oversees tutors at the World Language Tutorial Center (WLTC) and assists with trainings and the Embedded Tutoring Program.

Kathia Silva Ramirez

Student Athlete Specialist/BA in Criminal Justice

Jael say's she is the sweetest person around.

Kathia has been employed at the SSC for the last 3 years and has been tutoring English ever since.  She graduated with a Bachelors in Criminal Justice but found herself to be passionate about helping others get one step closer to achieving their goals.  She has been over-seeing the Student-Athlete center for two semesters now.  Kathia can write some awesome reports and makes sure to get things done.  She's great at implementing study skills into her projects.

Monday-Thursday 9:00 A.M – 7:00 P.M.

Friday 9:00 A.M. – 5:00 P.M.
