Brittany Coronel

The Upward Bound program at Imperial Valley College is proud to announce Brittany Coronel, part of the Upward Bound Classic and Upward Bound Math & Science, has been accepted to CSU San Bernardino. Coronel is a Calexico High School graduate.

Upward Bound has offered fun and engaging Saturday events every month this year. Our students get to compete in fun activities such as a Halloween costume contest, ugly holiday sweater contests, and a Shark Tank competition.

Upward Bound also offers educational workshops on topics such as STEM, growth mindset, time management and university campus tours. The keynote speakers have been empowering presenters from
all over the United States. They have included K.D. Wilson, Rockell Bartoli, the enthusiastic Paradigm Shift staff, STEM workshops with Woven Learning, and the Mindset Works staff.
