IVC gives free food to students

Food trucks brought free hot dogs, tacos to students on Aug. 23 and 24.

Imperial Valley College welcomed its students back on campus for the Fall semester by providing free lunch.

Students, faculty and staff were all smiles as they received tickets for free hot dogs on Aug. 23 and tacos on Aug. 24.

While the college has numerous renovation projects underway, the College Center expansion is one of them.

To address student, faculty, and staff concern, IVC has brought food trucks on campus and is working to bring food services to the campus. A campus-wide notice will be sent when food services are available.

Meanwhile, the IVC Kitchen is back for all students. There will be grab and go items (waters, gatorades, granola snacks, tuna, mac-n-cheese, etc.) available from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m.  Mondays through Thursdays in Room 3600.
