Depaoli Sports Complex

The Depaoli Sports Complex is home to the Imperial Valley College Men’s and Women’s basketball teams as well as the women’s volleyball team. The sports complex is named after the late John A. Depaoli. Mr. Depaoli was the Superintendent/President of Imperial Valley College and was dedicated to the college and its athletic teams.

The Depaoli Sports Complex is one of the finest community college facilities in California. Not only is it home to the athletic teams, but it is also used for the college’s graduations, physical education classes and other performances and exhibitions. The facility also has a permanent concession stand that is open during the games and performances. The multipurpose facility seats 2,170 for basketball and volleyball.

The facility also houses a wellness center that is used in conjunction with the college and is used for several weight training classes, cardiovascular training classes, and athletic team training throughout the year. The facility is looking to expand within the next year and broaden its uses to include the community as well as the students and student-athletes on campus.
