THE IMPERIAL VALLEY COLLEGE COMMITMENT

MATRICULATION

Matriculation is a process that brings a college and a student who enrolls for credit into an agreement for the purpose of realizing the student’s educational objectives. The main purpose of matriculation is to help you achieve your educational goals. We ask that you take part in a partnership with us in order to ensure your educational success. In other words, we ask you to commit to an educational goal, and we commit to helping you to succeed in meeting that goal.

· Orient you to the college’s programs, services, and policies.

· Provide top quality instruction.

· Attend class.

· Work hard to complete assignments and courses.

· Meet with a counselor to discuss your choices.
