FIRE ACADEMY PROGRAM
Application Process:
Applications are turned in to the IVC Nursing/EMS Office and must be received prior to the deadline of May 1. After that time, applicants will prepare to take the Entrance Exam.
We will notify all students of the status of their application approximately four (4) weeks after the deadline. A total of 20 students will be accepted and a wait list established. Those on a wait list will serve as alternates should someone withdraw their position in the class. Students who are not accepted can opt to reapply for the following year.
Students accepted into the Academy will need to:
- Confirm their intent to enroll in the Fall
- Complete a health form
- Apply to the College online (www.imperial.edu)
- Attend orientation
- Register for classes
- Meet program objectives as stated for the program
Students will be sent more detailed information once accepted.
