Migratory waterfowl such as the Green-Winged
Teal can be found at the Salton Sea and in freshwater ponds throughout
the Imperial Valley.
Females have little color other than the green
spot on their wing; the male drakes have bright green ear patches
on cinnamon-colored heads.
