  2. Complete the 2012-13 BOGFW Application

High school seniors planning to attend IVC this fall, the time to apply for financial aid is here!  Funding is available to help pay for fees, books and living expenses for those who qualify.  It is important to be prepared.

Here are the steps you MUST take:

1. Complete the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA)

  • The 2013-14 FAFSA is available at www.fafsa.ed.gov . Your high school will have FAFSA workshops, it is important to be prepared with your parent 2012 income information.
  • Make sure you list IVC on the college listing, our code is: 001214
  • Your application must be submitted by March 2nd in order to be considered for the most funding possible.

2. Make Corrections

  • Once your parents' 2012 Income taxes are filed, use the IRS Data Retrieval Tool on the FAFSA website to update your income information. If you are unable to use the IRS Data Retrieval tool, request a Tax Transcript from the IRS either online at www.irs.gov or by calling 1-800-908-9946

3. Complete and submit the Student Information Worksheet 2013-14 Student Information Worksheet

4. Check the status of your application until it is complete
