Opportunity
Emergency Medical Services Training offers a Paramedic Course through
Imperial Valley College. Both Certificate and Associate degree program are
offered.
The course for the Certificate Program consists of a total of

The course
is designed for the EMT I or EMT II who wishes to have upward career
mobility in EMS.
This program is offered in two semesters, beginning in the Fall.
Didactic 200 and 210 are scheduled from August to December, four days per
week, Tuesday through Friday. Additional class assignments are made during
the course.
Didactic 215 is schedule during winter session (Jan-Feb).
Clinical 225 is scheduled in 12- hour shifts.
Field 235 and 245 are scheduled in 24-hour shifts.

Paramedic
Interns will receive clinical experience in a hospital setting and will
receive field experience on a Paramedic Advanced Life Support Ambulance in
Imperial County.
