$2,500 in scholarship will be awarded. 
Competitors must be residents of Imperial County or attending a school in Imperial County. 
The winner received a half-tuition scholarship (up to $125 elementary, $250 junior high school and high school).

7:00 p.m. Auditions
Competitors under the age of 24, who do not yet possess a bachelors degree, perform a movement of a standard concerto or concert work for soloist and orchestra.  Competitors must be residents of Imperial County or attending a school in Imperial County.  (Previous winners are ineligible.)  Performing with an accompanist is recommended, but accompanists are not provided by the I.V.S.A.  The winner receives a $500 scholarship and will be the featured soloist in the April 22, 2005 Concert.
