Service:
- Open 54 hours a week.
- Serves 52 French, Spanish, Reading and ESL classes.
- Open to all students on campus.
- Serves an average of 970 students each semester.

Program:
- Provides
reading students with practical exercises via the internet to
supplement classroom instruction and offers software programs for
Spanish, French, and ESL students
- Provides
students with tutorial help in completing programmed assignments that
gives the student practice in applying the principles they learn in
class. Tutors explain the exercises, check students’ progress, and assist in maintaining student records. Tutors
may work with students individually to explain any concepts about the
software programs that the student may find confusing.

Management:
- Managed by Learning Services and funded by the Imperial Valley College’s general fund.
- Daily operated overseen by the Language Lab Coordinator and Lab Assistant.
- Reading Lab program overseen by the Tutorial Specialist.
- Offering
support for the Reading and English as a Second Language program
through the English Division and for Foreign Language through the
Humanities Division.

Facilities:
- 2600 building, within 100 feet of classrooms, faculty offices, and student services.
- Houses the Language Lab and Reading/Writing Lab.
- Two rooms, separated by a see-through partition. These rooms have a total of 63 computers in which students have access to software programs.
- Reception area with check-in/out counter.
- Office and storage room.
