Training

Welcome to the IVC Training Page

Campus IT provides technology training for faculty and staff to ensure our technology systems and software are effectively used throughout the college. Whether you need to improve your computer literacy skills, or are trying to integrate technology or software into your curriculum, we are here to support you.

We can arrange personal or group sessions depending on your needs. Some examples of what we can do for you:

  1. We can arrange a personal session where we walk you through the steps to create shared calendar in Outlook.
  2. We can arrange a team session where we come to your work area and train all users in the use of an application or service, such as how to manage incoming and outgoing faxes with the Fax Server.
  3. We can arrange a general training on a specific application, such as Microsoft Excel, and have you join us in our new training facility in Room 901.
  4. Or, we can discuss your needs and develop a solution with you!

Via Service Desk:

Step 1. Go to the IVC Website at http://www.imperial.edu, click on Faculty and Staff, and then click on Service Desk. Or, you may go directly to the Service Desk at http://servicedesk.imperial.edu.

Step 2. Type in your E-mail Address

Step 3. Type in your Password (The same password you use for e-mail and to log into your computer)

Step 4. Click Login and then select Technology Request

Step 5. Select Training Support and then follow the remaining prompts to make your request.
