 MISSION STATEMENT:

 The mission of the Student Learning Outcomes Committee is to assist Imperial Valley College's campus community in the ongoing assessment of courses, programs, and services which lead to student success. (Standard II.a.2.b)

 FORMS

Cycle Assessment Form 2012. New in 2012.  This updated form includes only the Cycle Assessment portion.  You do not need to print out your form. Please send your completed Cycle Assessment electronically by email to the person in your department who is collecting them.  Do NOT send it to the SLO Coordinator.

Program_Learning_Outcomes Form This is the form that you need to submit both Phase I and Phase II of your PLOs.  You do not need to print out your form.  Please send your completed form electronically by email to the SLO Coordinator at This e-mail address is being protected from spambots. Service Area Outcomes (SAOs)  Identified Service Areas should use this form for submitting the PHASE I and PHASE II information.  Completed forms are to be sent by email to the SLO Coordinator at This e-mail address is being protected from spambots. ASSESSMENT PLANNING

Size Reduction Guidelines  For courses that offer multiple sections, guidelines on choosing which sections to assess.    

Planning Grid Sample 1 Each department needs to have a plan and a schedule for assessing SLOs over a muti-term, multi-year period.  These samples can provide guidance in your planning.
