Nursing & Allied Health Department


Nursing and Allied Health Programs

Whether you want to work in a hospital, a pharmacy, a clinic, or in the field with municipalities, the Nursing Education & Allied Health Department offers the degrees and certificate programs to help you succeed. Degrees include Registered Nursing (RN), Licensed Vocational Nursing (LVN), LVN to RN, Paramedic (EMTP), Emergency Medical Technician I (EMT), Medical Assisting (MA), and Pharmacy Technician. Additional programs offered are Health Assistant and Home Health Aide. Programs are rigorous, exciting, and can lead to meaningful careers in the fields of Health Care and Fire.

You will find that faculty are experts in their area of instruction and work together to provide students with the best education available. To help ensure success, there are Nursing & Allied Health Counselors/Advisors available to guide you in your program of interest. They are located in the Counseling Office, Building 100. The Nursing Program has an active and innovative Nursing Learning Center and Computer Lab and well equipped State-of-the-Art Simulation/Skills Labs for training. All are located in Building 2100.

Pre-Nursing Information Sessions are open to all IVC students interested in any of the Nursing and Allied Health careers. This session is required for students applying to the Nursing Programs.
