WebSTAR can be accessed in a variety of ways, but the easiest way to access it from the IVC Homepage (www.imperial.edu) can be found within the For Students or Faculty & Staff dropdown menus:

This will take you to the screen shown below:

In the IVC ID text box: Please type in your Social Security Number or Student/Employee ID (also known as the G number) Example: G00123456. This number is provided to students via email when they apply to the college or on their Student ID Card. For employees, the number can be provided by your Department Secretary, the Academic Services Office or Human Resources office as well as on your Employee ID Card.

In the PIN text box: For first time users, your first PIN is your 6-digit birth date in mmddyy order. Example if your birth date is February 28, 1991 you will type 022891.

Additionally, first time users may be required to change their PIN, add a security question/answer and agree to some terms.
