Students can login to the PaperCut website by visiting: http://papercut.imperial.edu/user

For your username, you will use the first part of your student email address (e.g. jdoe2).

For your password, you will use your WebSTAR PIN.

You can login by visiting: http://papercut.imperial.edu/user

For your username, please use the first part of your IVC em+ail address (e.g. firstname.lastname).

For your password, please use your IVC email password.

If you are in the Library, Counseling Center or 2700 Building you will be able to use copiers that are connected to card readers that will allow you to use the new IVC Student ID Card:

How to Login using the New ID Card:

1. Swipe your card
2. Enter in the last 4 digits of your Social Security Number as a PIN (if prompted)
3. Select Copy (to perform a copy job) or Print (to release a job that's been held in your printer queue that's been sent using an IVC computer or via the Web Print option).

How to Login without the New ID Card:

1. Enter in the last 6 digits of your G# (so in the example above it would be everything after the G00: so it would be 123456)
2. Enter in the last 4 digits of your Social Security Number as a PIN (if prompted)
3. Select Copy (to perform a copy job) or Print (to release a job that's been held in your printer queue that's been sent using an IVC computer or via the Web Print option).

Staff can make use of any of the copiers currently available for students, using the instructions above (they can use the card reader option if they have the new IVC Employee ID Card).

Additionally, staff can use any of the department copiers in the same way now that they are all using PaperCut.

1. Enter in the last 6 digits of your G#
2. Press Enter again on the screen asking for a PIN code (this is currently not required for the department copiers)
3. Enter in an appropriate Account Code to charge your copy jobs to (required for all IVC copy jobs, optional if you are submitting a personal copy job and have funds in your personal account).

It is easiest to simply use the last 6 digits of your G#, plus any required PIN/Account Codes because it should be quicker typing in only numbers, but you do have the additional option to also use your IVC username (usually the first part of your IVC email address) and your IVC password to login to PaperCut.

Alternate Login Steps:

1. Enter in your IVC Username (e.g. jdoe2 or john.doe)
2. Enter in your IVC Password (same password used to get into your IVC email account)
3. For Staff: You may need to enter in an account code as well

Introducing Web Print using PaperCut

Now you can send print jobs for your documents and reports from the comfort of your own computer (and if you wanted, even from home!). With Web Print, you are able to upload your Microsoft Office Excel, Microsoft Office PowerPoint, Microsoft Office Word, and PDF files for printing via a web interface, then come over to the printer you submitted the job to and release it for printing.

Here’s how to do it:

1. Get to the PaperCut Account Login Page: http://papercut.imperial.edu/user
2. Loginusing your Student Email Address username and password
   1. Username example: If your student email address was oramos1@students.imperial.edu your username would be oramos1)
   2. Password example: This will be the same 6-digit number you currently use to access the Student Portal
   3. Don’t know either of the above?
      1. Find your student email address: https://my.imperial.edu/student-email (login required)
      2. Recover your password: https://pin.imperial.edu/
         
3. Once logged in you can use the Web Print (shown in the image above) option to start the submission process for your document.
4. Once you’ve submitted your job, walk up to the printer you submitted your job to and use the card reader to login, find your print job and release it for printing.

Students have the following copier options on campus:
