Pigeon flocks can be found in every town in the Imperial Valley. Many have taken up residence in old buildings and water towers.

On our college campus, they can be seen atop the gymnasium and at the old train station across Aten Road at the Pioneers Museum.

Pigeons feed on grain left after harvesting in our farm fields or spilled along railroad tracks. Flocks of them can also be found at every cattle feed yard in our Valley.
